We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic phlebotomist to join our friendly, teaching and training practice.
Main duties of the job:
- You should like meeting people and working as part of a team, putting people at ease, and be responsible and reliable.
- It is essential that you are careful, methodical and enjoy following rules and procedures to carry out this role.
- The role includes obtaining blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe delivery to the laboratory for testing.
Hours are negotiable. Full-time or part-time. School hours considered. Informal visits welcome.
Job responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Phlebotomist to draw blood, test samples and send samples to the lab. This is a rewarding job which enables you to meet and help members of the local community.
- One of the most important phlebotomist job duties is to properly identify patients and correctly use phlebotomy methods (e.g. venepuncture, skin puncture).
- We will rely on you to preserve patient confidentiality and quality of samples.
