This advert is open to both internal and external applicants. There are 5 positions available.
A Personal Wellbeing Assistant will provide all aspects of care in a person’s own home. This may include personal care, assist with medication, support with meals and drinks.
You will be required to have a genuine interest and commitment to providing high quality care and support to adults in promoting their privacy, dignity, choice and independence.
These are part time positions only, working 21 hours per week and therefore the salary will be pro rata as shown above. You will be required to work on a rota basis which will include weekends. This post includes working evening shifts 4 pm- 10pm; we predominantly require evening shifts.
The role will require you to be able to travel across the city. A rolling programme of induction and accredited training opportunities will build your confidence and enable you to reach your full potential. Also, from within the council you will be offered a comprehensive framework of core skills and knowledge.
