Weare looking for a professional, adaptable, and positive Early Years InclusionOfficer to join our fantastic team. The overall purpose of this role is toenable children aged 0 to 5years with additional needs and Special EducationalNeeds and Disabilities (SEND) to learn, develop, and reach their fullpotential.
Thesuccessful candidate will support the early identification of SEND in line withthe graduated approach, ensuring timely intervention and reducing delays inaccessing appropriate support. You will plan and deliver high-quality playexperiences for young children with complex or high-level needs, whilemodelling effective practice and developmentally appropriate activities for parents,carers, and early years educators to promote children's development, learning, andinclusion. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date assessments and developmentalrecords for individual children, including recording information on the servicedatabase. You will also be a confident communicator, able to build positiverelationships with families and professionals, and produce clear, accuratereports and professional advice both verbally and in writing.

KeyResponsibilities:
- Planand deliver inclusive early years programmes through Portage groups, homevisits and stay and play sessions
- Supportthe planning and delivery of multi agency assessment activities
- Contributeto service improvement by reviewing provision, identifying gaps and supportingnew initiatives
- Provideadvice, guidance and practical strategics to support children with SEND andspecific disabilities
- Maintainaccurate records of children's progress and produce clear, high quality reportsoutlining strengths, needs and developmental outcomes
AboutYou:
- Holda BTEC in Nursery Nursing / Level 4 qualification in Caring for Children andYoung People or an equivalent qualification and post qualifying experience
- Haveknowledge of what constitutes good practice in Early Years Foundation Stage
- Haveextensive knowledge of inclusive early years practice and have an understandingof SEN Code of Practice
- Experiencein multi agency working
- Havegood written and verbal communication skills
