We'relooking for an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Project Manager to support thedelivery of our ambitious Digital Transformation and AI Programme.

Thisis an exciting opportunity to work on projects that will modernise services,improve customer experience, reduce bureaucracy and deliver significantbenefits for residents and staff. Working as part of the Transformation Team,you'll support a portfolio of digital, data and AI projects, working closelywith our Digital and Change Managers to coordinate activities, monitor progressand help ensure successful delivery. You'll gain hands-on experience supportingcomplex transformation projects while developing your project managementcareer.

Whatyou’ll do:

  • Supportthe delivery of digital transformation and AI projects
  • Workalongside Digital and Change Managers to coordinate project activities andchange initiatives
  • Maintainproject plans, risk registers, action logs and programme documentation
  • Organisemeetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Preparereports, presentations and governance papers
  • Trackproject milestones, benefits and savings
  • Supportcommunications, training and change activities to help embed new ways ofworking

Whatwe're looking for:

  • Experienceof supporting projects or programmes is essential
  • Experienceworking on digital transformation, technology, data, AI or projects would beadvantageous
  • Excellentorganisational and communication skills
  • Strongstakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Abilityto manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams Experienceusing Microsoft 365 applications and producing high-quality reports anddocumentation
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues andsupport the development of practical solutions
