Role Overview

Directorate: Housing Regeneration and Operations

Section: Transport Policy and Planning

Location: Civic Centre

Grade: Level 5

Salary: £26,403 – £28,598

Hours: 37 – Full Time

Validity: Fixed term post for 18 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse traffic data for all transport modes as required.
  • Maintain and administer a transport database and undertake research.
  • Assist with the production of reports to senior officers, Council Members, and external organisations.
  • Monitor and report on trends and Local Transport Plan / Stoke on Trent City Council targets.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and undertake surveys and transport studies.

Qualifications

  • Data oriented with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experienced with large datasets, databases, and administration tasks.
  • Knowledge or experience in data collection, database management, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel advantageous; training can be provided.
  • Independently capable of working alone and as part of a small team.
