Are you ready to keep our county moving? Join our Highways team as a Street Works & Permit Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and coordinating street works and permits to minimize disruption and keep our roads safe and efficient.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate major works and permit applications, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Manage street works registers, inspections, and enforcement under the Traffic Management Act and NRSWA.
- Liaise with utility companies and contractors to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth operations.
- Oversee licensing for skips, scaffolding, and temporary traffic measures.
What we’re looking for:
- ONC or equivalent knowledge in a relevant subject.
- Strong understanding of traffic management legislation and permitting systems.
- Experience with NRSWA, coordination of works, and enforcement processes.
- Excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Organised, collaborative, and committed to high standards of safety and service.
