The Markets Team is a small team of 15, who work closely to deliver the Market Offer at 4 indoor locations and 3 outdoor locations across the city.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Health and Safety of the market halls in line with legislation
- Manage the legal compliance around the Charter and licensing requirements of traders
- Assist with budget management across the markets estate
- Manage the occupancy rates in line with SOTCC targets
- Ensure delivery of market standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of Food Safety Legislation
- Knowledge of Health and Safety with evidence at management level
- Experience completing Risk Assessments
- Experience managing performance against budgets
- Experience leading a team
- A retail background would be advantageous
