The Role: You could be part of the Housing Management Team and contribute towards our constant drive for excellence. As a member of the Housing Management Team, you would play a vital role in providing an outstanding Sheltered Housing provision whilst supporting our wider Tenancy and Estate Management Service. Tenant engagement, customer satisfaction and a commitment to delivering the requirements of the Social Housing Regulation Act and associated standards are embedded within every aspect of service delivery. This is a rewarding, exciting and varied role that involves the management of day-to-day operations in our modern portfolio of sheltered housing schemes, including elements of partnership working, project management, and safeguarding. The Sheltered Housing Team Manager is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, effective and responsive housing management and support service, in line with council policies, procedures and legislation. In managing a multi-disciplinary team, you will help provide the foundation for sheltered scheme residents to live independently. We are looking for candidates who are passionate and enthusiastic about independent living communities and skilled in building productive relationships with stakeholders. This role requires a significant element of the week working within the sheltered schemes across the City.

About You: Must possess detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of managing complex sheltered housing schemes. Must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering quality customer services, tenancy management, and working within an environment of continual service improvement. Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
