Responsibilities

  • Manage people, contractors, and resources to ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards within budget.
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation and council SHE policies.
  • Deliver project plans in line with contractual requirements, quality standards and agreed programmes of work.
  • Monitor budgets, financial performance including forecasting and cost control, and provide accurate updates to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain essential site records.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and resources to meet programme requirements efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold a relevant NVQ Level 4 or equivalent and significant experience in managing CDM projects.
  • Hold a current CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme qualification.
  • Have strong knowledge of Housing Maintenance and multi‑disciplinary project delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing social housing projects, refurbishments, planned major and minor works ranging in value from £10k to £1.5m.
  • Knowledge of construction management, planning and programming techniques.
