Fleet Operations & Compliance is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our unique and dynamic team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to ensure the operations comply with legislative requirements.
The department works to tight timescales and often statutory deadlines; therefore, experience of working within a highly pressured responsive service is a must. The department plays an integral part of the Council's fleet operations ensuring legal compliance in all areas. This is an essential function to support the Council in providing the services to the residents of the city.
The successful candidate will be a qualified MOT tester and vehicle mechanic or be time served with significant experience in all the major elements of vehicle repairs including engines, transmission, braking systems and suspension, including a basic knowledge of vehicle electrics. Must have the ability to work on a wide variety of vehicles and plant.
Benefit package includes Tool Allowance and Call Out Rota payments.
