Market Officer

The Markets Team is a small team of 15, who work closely to deliver the Market Offer at 4 indoor locations and 3 outdoor locations across the city.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Health and Safety of the market halls in line with legislation
• Manage the legal compliance around the Charter and licensing requirements of traders
• Assist with budget management across the markets estate
• Manage the occupancy rates in line with SOTCC targets
• Ensure delivery of market standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of Food Safety Legislation
• Knowledge of Health and Safety with evidence at management level
• Experience completing Risk Assessments
• Experience managing performance against budgets
• Experience leading a team
• A retail background would be advantageous
