Role and Responsibilities

Following internal promotion, the All Age Commissioning Service is looking to recruit a permanent Commissioning and Contracts Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for both leading on and supporting a wide range of commissioning and contracting projects aimed at supporting our most vulnerable residents. This will include working on supporting statutory services such as care homes, homecare, supported living and extra care as well as working with our voluntary, community and faith sector to develop innovative services and develop new ways of supporting individuals to maintain their independence.

Collaboration and Scope

The role will involve working across several different directorates, such as Adult Social Care, Public Health, Housing, Finance and Legal as well as developing relationships with our health colleagues.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to think creatively and a passion for developing and delivering services that can make a real difference to the lives of people in Stoke on Trent.
