Our Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling across Stoke and Staffordshire, keeping traffic moving and people safe, providing advice to residents, businesses and visitors, whilst enforcing traffic regulation orders fairly, accurately and consistently.

You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion, and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions. Your day will be spent mostly outside, in all weathers and you will be dealing with members of the public face to face; enjoying customer service is needed and being able to deal with difficult situations.

Basic computing skills would be an advantage, as you will be using a hand-held device daily. You will be required to work 37 hours per week across a 6-week rotating shift pattern covering Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential. A full driving licence is essential.
