The predicted salary is between 31650 - 40000 £ per year.
22.25hrs per week paid at NJC Grade C (3 full days and 2 mornings) 5hrs per week paid at NJC Grade A (1hr per day for Mealtime duty). Fixed Term Temporary post to commence September 2026, or sooner if possible. This is a fixed term appointment linked to EHCP funding for specific support for a pupil with complex educational needs.
You will provide in class support including tailored interventions and we are looking to appoint an individual with a sensitive, relational and nurturing approach. The successful applicant will need to be flexible, communicate effectively and think creatively.
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
- Have good English and Maths skills;
- Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries;
- Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
- Be able to use your own initiative when required;
- Have experience in a similar role in a school;
- Have prior knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs;
