DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to help lead our food and beverage operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Working closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas while leading and inspiring the team to maintain exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management and daily operation of the restaurant and bar departments
- Lead shifts and supervise team members to ensure smooth service delivery
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton brand standards
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and development
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance
- Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently
- Assist with rota planning and labour management
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
- Drive sales opportunities and promote food and beverage offerings
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous supervisory or management experience within a bar, restaurant, or hotel environment
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
- Is passionate about hospitality and guest service
- Can remain calm and organised under pressure
- Has excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Holds knowledge of food hygiene and licensing regulations
- Previous Hilton experience is desirable but not essential
