Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Safety Stewards to support events, training and matchday operations. Positions are available at our Training Ground Facility at Clayton Wood or at the bet365 Stadium.
As a Safety Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of all attendees including parents, staff, players and guests, while providing them with an enjoyable experience. You will have the opportunity to develop your operational knowledge through a comprehensive induction process, gaining the necessary skills to enhance the overall experience for our guests. All relevant training will be provided including the opportunity to work towards achieving NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety. The successful candidates will have availability to work during evenings and weekends. Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis.
Main Responsibilities- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
- Upholding safety protocols and procedures during training sessions and matches.
- Assisting with crowd control and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitoring areas for hazards and reporting them appropriately.
- Engaging with parents, staff and players to provide information and support.
