Stoke City Community Trust is an independent and registered charity. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and young people through sport, physical activity, health, and education.
We are looking for a committed individual with a holistic approach to youth work, who is able to positively engage with young people in a variety of settings.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and developing Youth Engagement activities for a range of age groups.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning, delivering and supporting a range of youth engagement sessions throughout the city.
- Planning, project managing and delivering exciting new co-production projects whilst establishing positive links with young people.
- Supporting the Youth Engagement Manager in their role.
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience of working with young people, either in a one to one or a group setting.
- Enthusiastic and innovative with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage own time and workload as well as working as part of a team.
- Qualification in Youth Work or Young People’s Mental Health is desirable.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
The position will be offered on a full time basis including evenings, weekends, matchday fixtures and any other adhoc events. All relevant training will be provided.
The salary for this position will be based on the skills, experience and qualifications of the candidate.
