Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for a Cleaning Operative to support the day to day running of its operations across all properties in the Club’s portfolio. The role will be based at the bet365 Stadium or Clayton Wood Training Ground, but you may also be required to work at other facilities as needed. The successful applicant will work within a busy and friendly team, cleaning all aspects of the stadium and hospitality areas as well as covering match day and post‑match requirements. Please note, this is a year round position and not seasonal. The position will be offered on a full‑time basis, and all relevant training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other adhoc events at the bet365 Stadium.
Main responsibilities
- Performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
- Managing waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Completing cleaning duties to a high standard while adhering to cleaning schedules, company processes and policies.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of COSHH regulations and ensuring safe handling, storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
