Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for a full time Cleaning Operative to support the day to day running of its operations across all properties in the Club’s portfolio. The vacancies will be based at the Clayton Wood Training Ground but you may also be required to work at the bet365 Stadium, the Academy indoor facility and other facilities as needed.

The successful applicant will work with a busy and friendly team, cleaning all aspects of the Training Ground facility including changing rooms, offices and external areas. Please note, this is a year round position and not seasonal.

Main responsibilities

  • Performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Completing cleaning duties to a high standard while adhering to cleaning schedules, company processes and policies.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of COSHH regulations and ensuring safe handling, storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals.

The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

The position will be offered on a full time permanent basis. All relevant training will be provided.
