Stoke City Foundation is the official charitable arm of Stoke City Football Club, dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to deliver a wide variety of sessions across our key areas in education, community engagement, football development, fundraising and events.
Delivery will include but is not limited to supporting school-based sport and physical activity sessions, increasing football participation and delivering inclusive community sport and activity programmes. Sessions may take place at various times throughout the week and will be designed to engage and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.
As part of our vision to support active communities and healthier lives united by football, you will play a vital role in creating high quality experiences that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Ideal candidates will hold, or be working towards, a recognised coaching qualification in sport or physical activity. This may include, but is not limited to, a UEFA C Licence in Football Coaching or a Level 1 qualification from a National Governing Body in one or more of the following areas:
- Football
- Basketball
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Tennis
- Rugby
- Multi Skills
- Youth Work
- Gymnastics
- Cricket
- Dance
- Golf
We are also welcoming applications from candidates that hold a current National Goalkeeping in Football qualification or above. A full, clean driving licence as well as an up to date certificate in First Aid and Safeguarding is desirable.
Positions will be offered on a casual and intermittent basis. Background checks and DBS checks at the appropriate level will be obtained prior to employment commencing.
