Stoke Bishop CofE Primary School is a friendly and thriving two-form entry primary school in North West Bristol. We are a single academy trust and our school's vision is "Believing it's Possible." The school values of Grace, Passion, Courage and Integrity are demonstrated in our day to day life.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic class based teaching assistant to support a Reception class in our school. We are looking for staff who can support us with our values and make a positive contribution to school life. The position is for 30 hours per week over 5 days. You will be joining a very open, friendly and energetic team, working within a Reception "hub" as part of a team of 3 teachers and 2 teaching assistants. We are looking for people who like to contribute and see the impact of their work, both with children and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and interests both as part of the teaching team and as an individual. The post also includes a lunchtime role that is focused on supporting play and outdoor learning in a variety of ways.

SALARY AND WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

BG7 salary scale £26,824 to £28,142 pa (Actual salary £19,020 to £19,955)

30 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm (30 minute lunchbreak and 15 minute morning break), term time only + inset days

Contract term: Permanent

Start date: 23rd February 2026 or as soon as possible after this date.
