The situation: a senior tax departure has created an immediate need. A permanent hire is already secured for late August. You will bridge the gap, keep the function running, and hand over cleanly.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing VAT compliance across UK and European entities
- Supporting corporate tax obligations through a busy summer period
- Contributing to a major finance systems implementation (D365)
REIT compliance awareness is beneficial but not essential for this role.
What we're looking for:
- CTA or ACA qualified, in-house tax experience at the group level
- Confident across both direct and indirect tax
- Available immediately or on short notice
- Happy to work on-site in Hertfordshire, minimum 3 days per week
The details:
- Duration: ideally through to mid-September, with some flexibility on term for the right person
- 3 days office based / hybrid
