STOIX is retained to find a Group FD for one of Europe's fastest-growing operational real estate platforms, a private equity-backed, pan-European business with over 50 sites across six countries. This is a newly created role, reporting directly into the CEO. It's an exciting role for an FD looking to join a fast-growing business where there is a clear path to CFO. Or could be the natural next step for a strong Group Financial Controller or senior FP&A leader ready to make that leap to their first FD position.
Why this one's worth a conversation:
- A business that has doubled in size in the last three years and plans to double again
- Immediate, direct exposure to a live private equity process
- A clear, realistic path toward a future CFO seat as the business scales
- A finance function already recognised for its use of AI and modern tools, shortlisted for a Finance Team of the Year award
- Genuine multi-entity, multi-currency scope across six European markets
What we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with real commercial range, business partnering or FP&A that goes beyond the numbers
- Big 4 or Top 10 Audit training is highly desirable and preferred
- Some financial control or Group FC-level exposure
- Comfortable in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial, private equity-backed environment with proven experience operating in a c£50-£300m revenue organisation
- Strong operational, multi-site business (with real-estate/property) experience is essential (real estate, retail, gyms, flexible workspace, hospitality etc)
- Genuinely curious about the use of AI and AI tools and can evidence this
