We are working exclusively with a global technology business to hire two experienced FP&A professionals into a newly created sales finance function. This is not a reporting role. It is not a data analyst role. It is a business partnering role — and the bar is high.
The Context
The finance leadership team is standing up a dedicated sales finance capability, aligned to internal sales segments. You will own the monthly performance pack, write the commercial commentary, and lead the business partnering conversation with VP-level sales leaders. The output has to be CFO-presentable. The conversations have to be confident. This is the beginning of something. If the model works, it scales.
What You Will Do
- Own financial reporting across allocated sales segments end to end
- Write commercial commentary that tells a clear, accurate performance story
- Lead monthly review conversations with senior sales leadership
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities — and communicate them with authority
- Help build the foundations of a scalable sales finance function
What We Are Looking For
- A strong FP&A or commercial finance background in a Technology, Software or Hardware Sales Business
- Comfortable reading a P&L and forming an independent view
- Credible and confident with VP and Director-level audiences
- Strong presentation design — your output looks the part
- Actively using AI tools in a professional finance context — this is non‐negotiable
- Direct sales finance or commercial finance experience
- Experience working alongside or supporting enterprise sales teams
- Exposure to compensation analytics or workforce planning
- Immediately available
- Sales finance background is a strong advantage. Technology or SaaS sector experience is a plus.
- Above all, we want people who bring energy. Drivers, not passengers.
