An experienced interim tax professional is needed to cover a critical gap this summer due to a senior tax departure. A permanent hire is secured for late August, and the interim will bridge the gap, keep the function running, and ensure a clean handover.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing VAT compliance across UK and European entities
  • Supporting corporate tax obligations through a busy summer period
  • Contributing to a major finance systems implementation (D365)
  • REIT compliance awareness is beneficial but not essential for this role

What we're looking for:

  • CTA or ACA qualified, in-house tax experience at the group level
  • Confident across both direct and indirect tax
  • Available immediately or on short notice
  • Happy to work on-site in Hertfordshire, minimum 3 days per week

The details:

  • Inside IR35, umbrella company required
  • Rate: circa £900-£1000 per day
  • Duration: ideally through to mid-September, with some flexibility on term for the right person
  • 3 days office based / hybrid; options for 4 days a week may be considered
