STOIX are retained by a private equity–backed services group on the appointment of a Director of FP&A. The business is undergoing exceptional growth through a significant buy-and-build strategy and is now strengthening its senior finance leadership team to support its next phase of scale. This is a newly created, high-impact role reporting directly to the CFO.
The Opportunity
The group has expanded rapidly across the UK and internationally, now operating a sizeable multi-entity platform with strong market momentum. With this growth comes the need to establish a best-in-class FP&A capability that can provide strategic insight, discipline and forward-looking analysis to support value creation.
As Director of FP&A, you will:
- Lead the full FP&A agenda at group level, acting as a strategic partner to the CFO and senior leadership.
- Build and enhance budgeting, forecasting and performance management frameworks in a highly acquisitive environment.
- Strengthen the link between financial plans, deal activity, operational performance and investor expectations.
- Design and implement scalable FP&A processes, models and reporting to support a dynamic multi-entity group.
- Work closely with M&A, Group Finance and operational leaders to ensure the business has the insight needed to support decision-making and growth.
- Develop and mentor the FP&A team, shaping the long-term structure of the function as the organisation continues to expand.
This role is a rare blend of strategic influence and hands-on ownership in a business where FP&A genuinely sits at the heart of value creation.
What We’re Looking For
- A senior, Top 10 trained, ACA qualified FP&A leader with experience in PE-backed, buy-and-build or fast-scaling multi-site services groups.
- Strong grounding in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Deals or similar — someone who can understand returns, sensitivities and investment logic.
- A track record of building or transforming FP&A functions, including modelling, forecasting and commercial insight.
- High energy, strong communication skills and the ability to operate in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Someone who thrives in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands on operational execution.
Confidentiality
Owing to the sensitivity of this hire, full details on the organisation and mandate will be shared only under NDA at the appropriate stage.
If you are an experienced FP&A leader interested in a high-growth, PE-backed opportunity with significant strategic influence, we would welcome a discreet conversation.
