Farringdon, London Hybrid 2-3 days per week in the office. Most firms our size don't have a role like this. We're creating one. STOIX is a B Corp-certified executive search firm. We place CFOs and senior finance leaders into PE-backed, PLC and founder-led growth businesses. We're small, high-performing, and completely serious about using AI to operate and grow in ways that most firms our size simply can't. That's where you come in.
The role. We're hiring an AI Operations and Growth Lead. This is a builder's role inside a search firm that wants to operate like a tech company. Your job is to design, build, and run the systems and tools that make STOIX faster, sharper, and more visible in the market. You'll use Claude, Lovable, Replit, and whatever else gets the job done. You'll spend your days building — not maintaining. Creating — not administering.
The work spans five areas:
- Automation and productivity: Map our processes. Automate the repeatable ones. Build Claude-powered workflows that save the team hours every week. Use Lovable, Replit, and Claude Code to build and ship lightweight internal tools and apps that solve real problems fast. Make the manual stuff disappear.
- Client deliverables and candidate presentation: This is where AI meets commercial impact. Build the systems that produce world-class candidate shortlists, search reports, and client presentations — fast, consistently, and at a quality that sets STOIX apart. Design digital shortlists that bring candidates to life visually, not just on paper. Create automated workflows so our consultants spend their time thinking, not formatting. The goal is simple: every client-facing document should make a competitor's look amateur.
- Marketing and brand: Build the content engine behind STOIX and our founders' personal brands. Design systems for LinkedIn content production, scheduling, and performance tracking. We have a voice and a growing audience. Your job is to build the infrastructure that scales both.
- Podcast growth: Chat CFO is our long-form content platform and a genuine BD channel. Build the operational and content machine behind it — guest pipeline, outreach workflows, production systems, and a strategy to grow the audience and convert it into a commercial opportunity.
- Business development intelligence: Build automated research workflows that surface market triggers, generate pre-meeting intelligence briefs, and support outreach campaigns at scale. Help us show up to every conversation better prepared than anyone else in the room.
Who you are. You build things. That's the starting point. You're comfortable in Claude, Lovable, and Replit and learning more every day — and you know when to build from scratch and when to connect what already exists. You can ship a working tool or workflow without a developer on call. You understand APIs well enough to make things talk to each other and know what to do when they don't.
You think commercially. You care about output and impact, not activity. You spot a problem and your first instinct is to design a solution, not describe it. You're curious in all directions — tools, business models, markets, content, strategy. You read widely. You experiment freely. You're probably doing this kind of thing already, somewhere, for someone — and you want to do it at a place where it actually matters. You want to build something. This is the job.
What working at STOIX looks like. Small team. High standards. Real autonomy. We run on trust, directness, and a genuine commitment to doing excellent work. We don't do bureaucracy. We do get things done. Our values aren't wall art:
- 🤝 We Put People First — clients, candidates, and colleagues are humans, not transactions
- ✅ We Own the Outcome — responsibility for results, not just activity
- 📈 We Commit to Growth — ingenuity, resourcefulness, and always going the extra mile
- 💬 We Communicate with Clarity — honest, proactive, kind truth-telling
If those feel natural rather than performative, you'll fit here.
The details:
- 📍 Farringdon, London — 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- 💷 £42,000 to £55,000 depending on experience + Healthcare + Pension
- 🎯 Performance bonus tied to measurable business impact
- 🗓️ Start: ASAP
