Our client is a fast-growing, global technology solutions and services provider, undergoing a significant finance transformation across its International business. As part of this build-out, they are creating a Controllership Hub to support entities across the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific, currently managed in-country and from a US headquarters.

This is a newly created role for a hands-on, technically strong accountant ready to own the month-end close and reporting across multiple international entities, under both US GAAP and IFRS.

What you’ll own:
  • Month-end close for a cluster of international entities, including income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Statutory and regulatory reporting, VAT and Corporate Tax submissions
  • Board and Group reporting to agreed timescales
  • Control design and maintenance as the business scales
  • Leading monthly results meetings, translating numbers into a clear read on what's driving them
  • Deputising for the Director of International Accounting
What you’ll bring:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • 2-3 years PQE, ideally with an audit background having trained in a Top 10 firm
  • Strong technical grounding in US GAAP and/or IFRS, multi-entity reporting
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-changing regulatory and reporting environment
  • Confident communicator, able to produce commentary that drives understanding, not just data
