An experienced interim tax professional is needed to cover a critical gap this summer due to a senior tax departure. A permanent hire is secured for late August, and the interim will bridge the gap, keep the function running, and ensure a clean handover.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing VAT compliance across UK and European entities
- Supporting corporate tax obligations through a busy summer period
- Contributing to a major finance systems implementation (D365)
- REIT compliance awareness is beneficial but not essential for this role
What we're looking for:
- CTA or ACA qualified, in-house tax experience at the group level
- Confident across both direct and indirect tax
- Available immediately or on short notice
- Happy to work on-site in Hertfordshire, minimum 3 days per week
The details:
- Inside IR35, umbrella company required
- Rate: circa £900-£1000 per day
- Duration: ideally through to mid-September, with some flexibility on term for the right person
- 3 days office based / hybrid; options for 4 days a week may be considered
