STOIX are working with a fast-growing IT services company with a focus on cloud solutions, content management, and generative AI enablement. The business helps their clients modernise their legacy systems, enhance compliance, and unlock the power of AI-ready infrastructure. With a client base that includes government departments and financial institutions, they manage billions of documents and deliver transformative solutions that reduce costs and drive efficiency.
With current revenues of c. £10m, they are on an ambitious growth trajectory targeting a £100m valuation by 2030. Operating internationally across the UK, US, the Middle East, and Asia, they have recently secured private equity investment to drive a new phase of growth.
The business are looking for a dynamic and commercially savvy FD to join the leadership team during this transformative phase. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the business, transitioning to a product-and-services revenue model, and preparing the company for future investment or exit within the next 3-5 years.
This is a hands-on role requiring a finance leader who can manage operational detail while driving strategic initiatives, including international expansion and exploring potential M&A opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives, supporting the goal of achieving a £100m valuation.
- Lead the finance function, building scalable processes for reporting, FP&A, and compliance across global operations.
- Support the transition to a recurring revenue model, driving financial modelling and planning.
- Manage international financial operations, including multi-currency processes and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare high-quality board packs and manage relationships with private equity investors and other stakeholders.
- Build a robust finance team capable of supporting the company’s rapid growth.
- Experience: Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in small but high-growth companies. Private equity or investor-facing experience is essential.
- Strategic and Hands-On: Able to balance strategic vision with detailed operational execution. Experience with recurring revenue models is highly desirable.
- International Expertise: Strong understanding of international finance, including FX hedging and multi-currency operations, to support global offices.
- Collaborative Leader: Low-ego, high EQ, and a team player who thrives in a diverse, inclusive, and entrepreneurial culture.
