Global Tech Services Business | London (Hybrid)
This role isn’t for everyone. Most Finance Business Partner jobs are glorified reporting roles. This one isn’t. STOIX is working exclusively with a global Tech Services business, working directly with operational leaders to reshape how the finance function thinks, plans, and acts. The analytics baseline is already strong. Your job is to make it sharper, faster, and more commercially useful — and then build on it.
If you’re the type who reads a P&L and immediately spots the story behind the numbers, this will suit you well.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Owning financial performance across IT and Services — reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, the works
- Building models that genuinely drive decisions: cost drivers, project profitability, pipeline visibility, run-rate forecasting
- Turning complex data into executive-ready insight — concise, visual, actionable
- Challenging legacy processes and replacing them with something better
- Working alongside senior leadership in a high-visibility environment with real scope to progress
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Have Big 4 or Top 10 or leading graduate scheme training with a clear track record of professional achievement
- Have a strong FP&A or finance business partnering background, ideally in tech, professional services, or a delivery-led business
- Understand services economics — utilisation, backlog, margin, project profitability
- Build financial models that others actually use
- Communicate clearly to non-finance audiences without dumbing it down
- Are genuinely curious about how businesses work, not just how the numbers move
- Power BI, Power Query, or advanced Excel capability is expected. A mindset for automation and process improvement matters more than the specific tool.
