Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experiencedHGV Workshop Managerto lead our in-house maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is key to ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of our HGV and specialist fleet. You will oversee daily workshop operations, manage maintenance schedules, supervise staff, and work closely with other departments to keep our fleet on the road and performing at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all workshop operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Schedule and prioritise maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs across the fleet.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with DVSA regulations and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records for inspections, defects, and maintenance using fleet management software.
- Control workshop inventory, ordering parts and equipment as required.
- Liaise with operations and transport departments to minimise downtime.

- Proven experience in managing a commercial vehicle workshop.
