Accountability: Deputy Head of Retail and Head of Retail

Location: Various across Teesside – Acklam, Coulby Newham, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Linthorpe, Marske, Norton (opening soon), Redcar, Saltburn, Skelton, Stokesley, Thornaby, and Yarm

Time Commitment: Our shops are generally open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Time commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed with the Shop Manager. Where possible, we ask that all volunteers commit to a minimum of two hours per week.

DBS Check needed? No

Age Requirements: From 14 years old plus

Tasks:

  • Preparing donated items for sale
  • Using a clothes steamer to ensure clothes look their best
  • Attaching labels and tags to donated items for easy browsing by customers
  • Pricing of donations
  • Identifying unsaleable donations for recycling
  • Keeping the stock room organised and tidy
