Accountability: Deputy Head of Retail and Head of Retail

Location: Various across Teesside – Acklam, Coulby Newham, Great Ayton, Guisborough, Ingleby Barwick, Linthorpe, Marske, Norton (opening soon), Redcar, Saltburn, Skelton, Stokesley, Thornaby and Yarm

Time Commitment: Our shops are generally open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Time commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed with the Shop Manager. Where possible, we ask that all volunteers commit to a minimum of two hours per week.

DBS Check needed? No

Age Requirements: From 14 years old plus

Role Overview: As a Sales Floor Volunteer, you will be the friendly face that greets customers when they enter our shop. Your main responsibilities will include assisting customers, maintaining shop displays, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting customers on the shop floor and providing excellent customer service
  • Working on window and shop displays to create attractive and appealing presentations
  • Keeping the shop tidy, clean, and well-organised through light housekeeping duties
