We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join our friendly team in Eaglescliffe as Scout Leaders. You’ll help deliver exciting activities for young people aged 10½ to 14 – from building shelters to building confidence, every week brings new adventures. No Scouting experience? No problem! You bring the energy and willingness to get involved – we’ll provide the training, support, and laughs along the way.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run engaging weekly sessions with support from a team of adult volunteers.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for young people.
- Support Scouts in developing skills for life – like teamwork, problem‑solving, and leadership.
- Help organise camps, community projects, and outdoor adventures.
- Encourage youth‑led decision‑making and personal development.
- Work with parents and the local Scouting team to keep everything running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Ability to work as part of a team.
