This is an opportunity to volunteer with the Learning & Skills Service to assist our tutors delivering our learning programmes to the community.

Whilst volunteering with us you might be supporting learners identified as having additional learning support needs, for example physical disability, learning disability, mental health, and dyspraxia in a classroom situation under the supervision of a qualified tutor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting a designated learner with classroom activity, which may include help with literacy/numeracy or practical skills such as cookery, art or crafts.
  • Preparing the classroom and supporting the tutors as required.
