Overview
Lead the way in transforming family support in Stockton. We are launching a new integrated Family Help Front Door service and are seeking an experienced, dynamic Team Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping this innovative approach. This is your chance to lead a team dedicated to ensuring children, young people, and families receive timely, effective support.
Our new front door will work with families at the earliest opportunity through family help services, while supporting partners to make effective referrals when children require targeted or safeguarding responses. Youโll be part of a multi-agency team in our modern riverside offices, collaborating to deliver real impact.
About the role:
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the Integrated Front Door team.
- Oversee screening and triage processes, ensuring robust multi-agency responses and timely decisions.
- Drive quality and consistency, embedding strengths-based and systemic approaches.
- Build strong partnerships with agencies and stakeholders to improve referral quality and joint working.
- Manage resources effectively, including budgets, staffing, and performance targets.
- Champion a positive, innovative workforce culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in leadership or management within childrenโs services.
- Strong decision-making and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and partnership-building skills.
