Look no further! We are delighted to be recruiting a Team Manager to join our Family Solutions Team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience in working with children and families, either within Early Help, Children\’s Social Care or an Education setting.
We are seeking a dynamic and relational manager who will be central to managing a team of Senior Family Workers, providing Early Help to children and families across the Borough. This is an exciting opportunity to work with staff to ensure they deliver high quality interventions and support to families, which both empowers and enables them to thrive.
You will be central to ensuring a high standard of case recordings and interventions, supervise cases and ensure that thresholds are applied and understood. We therefore welcome applications from those with experience of managing staff in Children\’s Services, with a proven record of working collaboratively with agencies and key stakeholders to promote the best outcomes for children and families across Stockton.
You will receive excellent support and join a welcoming, supportive senior management team.
To be considered for interview, you will:
- Have a degree or equivalent relevant professional or management qualification
- Have substantial experience in a management level role
- Ability to form strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Have a strong track record of overseeing staff and performance
- Have compassion and an understanding of the needs of children, families and communities
- Be an excellent communicator

- A salary from £49,764 – £51,802
- 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years\’ service. Ability to purchase additional leave is also available
