Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Assistant to join the Xentrall Shared Services team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

Xentrall Shared Services is a very successful partnership between Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington Borough Councils.

We also provide our services to other Councils, Schools and Academies across the Tees Valley.

The Recruitment team is responsible for the administration of the Recruitment process for the two Councils.

Once an offer of employment has been made by the recruiting manager, we issue offer letters, complete pre-employment checks, issue Contracts of Employment and ensure all required information is passed to the Payroll team for processing.

You will work closely with job applicants, managers and HR colleagues across the Councils.

You will also work with Schools and Academies and be responsible for advertising their vacancies on the Council websites and other external sites.

You will also be involved in the administration and monitoring of right to work and DBS checks.

We are keen to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Administration experience in an HR or Recruitment related role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of people
  • Able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Strong team-working ethos
