We are currently recruiting for a Personal Advisor to join our service which provides support to care experienced young people. We are a service that’s very focused on improvement and excellence and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, solution focussed person to work alongside us and our young people.

This is an exciting time to join a team that is high performing and is going through a significant expansion on the services we offer to our care experienced young people.

The role is about providing support to young people who are in or leaving care, aged 16-25. You will have a caseload and will fulfil the role and responsibilities of Personal Advisor to young people over the age of 18 who have left care, as well as building relationships and offering support to young people who are aged 16 & 17 and who are still looked after. This involves developing a caring, warm, encouraging and respectful relationship with your young people, supporting and guiding them through their transition into adulthood in all aspects of their lives. You will be committed to enabling and securing positive outcomes for young people.

Perhaps you have some experience of working with young people who have some significant challenges in their lives or maybe you’re care experienced yourself? You will be able to show that you have commitment and skills that are transferable to this role, such as skills in problem solving, recognising risk, undertaking written work, record keeping, excellent people skills as well as being good team player.
