We’re looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Managerto lead our approach to attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent across the Council. This is a brand-new role to help shape the future of our workforce.

About the Role
This is more than a recruitment job. It’s a strategic, high-impact role where your passion for people will directly influence the future of our workforce and support the Council in being recognised as an Employer of Choice. You’ll lead the design and delivery of an inclusive, and proactive talent acquisition service that reflects our values and ambitions.
In this role you’ll:
- Develop and implement a council-wide talent acquisition strategy that supports the whole Council
- Lead on the full recruitment lifecycle including shaping our employer brand and value proposition, candidate experience, onboarding, and supporting the recruiting manager experience
- Work with our People Operations and Organisational Development teams to support services in delivering workforce planning initiatives and ambitions
- Introduce innovative sourcing methods and build strong talent pipelines.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of recruitment.
