Some of the most important moments in a child's life happen when the rest of the world is asleep. We are looking for caring, resilient and dedicated Night Care Workers to join our Children's Residential Care Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who have experienced trauma, adversity and disruption, helping them feel safe, secure and cared for throughout the night.
As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a calm, nurturing and stable environment, supporting children through bedtime routines, responding to their individual needs during the night and helping them prepare positively for the day ahead.
About the role
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people overnight.
- Support bedtime and morning routines.
- Help children feel safe, secure and settled throughout the night.
- Respond appropriately to risks, incidents and emergencies.
- Follow care plans, behaviour support plans and risk assessments.
- Complete accurate records and handovers.
- Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure children's needs are met.
- Work flexibly across our children's homes as required.
About you

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or willingness to achieve this within 18 months of appointment.
- Experience of working with children, young people or families.
- Ability to follow care plans and risk assessments.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work a night rota, including weekends and across multiple settings when required.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
