We’re looking for a dynamic Learning & Development Partner to join our People & Organisational Development team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. It’s a fantastic time to join us as we implement a refreshed People & OD structure and new ways of working to support organisational change and to help embed our Council’s new culture, values, and behaviours.
About the Role
As our L&D Partner, you’ll lead on strategic learning and development initiatives across the Council, supervising two team members and working closely with managers and stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and high performance.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, delivering and contracting innovative L&D programmes including leadership development, coaching and mentoring, apprenticeships, and digital skills.
- Supporting workforce and succession planning to ensure future skills needs are met.
- Driving performance management and appraisal processes.
- Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion in all learning initiatives.
- Evaluating impact and ensuring value for money through data-driven insights.
We’re seeking someone with Proven experience in designing and delivering impactful L&D programmes..
