Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate new Year 7 school.
Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. Results in the summer continued the upward trend. This is a great time to join our school and a fantastic opportunity for the right colleague.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant who will assist the Director of Business & Finance in the achievement of the school’s educational aims through efficient management of financial resources. The role has a varied remit across a range of finance and administrative duties, within a busy school office environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent and accurate numeracy and literacy skills and an ability to use ICT and other specialist finance resources effectively. An ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team is essential. Experience in the use of school financial systems such as Agresso or similar would be beneficial.
