About the school
Northfield School is a large 11-16 community school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state-of-the-art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building, a newly built separate Year 7 school, and extensive sports facilities shared with the community.
Responsibilities
We wish to appoint a positive, proactive and professional colleague to the role of cover supervisor. The primary role will be to supervise lessons when a teacher is absent. Work will be set by the teacher and your role will be to ensure that pupils remain on task, complete the work and to maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom. This post will involve working with groups of pupils or individuals.
Experience of working in schools or with young people of secondary age would be a distinct advantage.
