Then look no further! We are delighted to be recruiting for a Cook to join our team at Rosedale Centre on a fixed term basis to cover absence.

Rosedale is a Residential Care Centre for adults requiring intermediate rehabilitation and assessment services. We provide in house therapy services and promote a strength-based approach, which empowers those accessing the centre to reach their full potential to reduce or delay the need for additional care services.

As a Cook (Catering Supervisor) you will manage the catering service on site. You will ensure food is presented attractively and also meet clients’ dietary needs and nutritional requirements. You will organise and supervise the catering team on site, take responsibility for tasks including stock control, food storage and kitchen cleanliness.

You will be an experienced cook or catering supervisor with an NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent. You will have an excellent knowledge of healthy eating guidelines, food hygiene and allergen awareness.

You will also have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organisation skills.

This site is a 52 week, 7 days per week site and you will work alongside another Cook / Catering Supervisor working a 2 week Rota System.

This is a fixed term contract covering absence – the expected duration of the contract is 6 months but will be reviewed periodically with the post holder based on operational needs.

This role is part time, 26.25 hours per week and the actual salary for the role is£18,150 – £18,440.
