Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is recruiting a Catering Assistant for our café at the new development in Preston Park Museum. Our catering service provides high-quality food, drinks, and snacks to local schools and cafes at various locations, including our main offices, Preston Park, and Wynyard Woodland Park.

Exciting developments are underway at Preston Park Museum, with a modern extension including a new café facility.

As a Catering Assistant, your responsibilities will include preparing and serving food, drinks, and snacks to visitors, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, good hygiene standards, and organisational skills.

This is a part-time role of 17.25 hours per week, with an annual salary of £11,201.
