Then look no further! We are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Catering Supervisor to join our team at our new caféat Preston Park Museum.
Our Catering service provide high quality, delicious food, drinks and snacks to a number of schools in our borough as well as catering for cafés at locations including our main offices, Preston Park and Wynyard Woodland park.
Exciting changes are happening at Preston Park Museum with work nearly complete to bring a bold and modern extension to the museum with new facilities including a café.
As an Assistant Catering Supervisor, you will take a lead role on site at the café, taking ownership of menu planning and ordering, as well as controlling and recording food production, waste and food/equipment temperatures. You will use your awareness of allergen legislation to ensure that our visitors’ dietary needs and nutritional requirements are met safely and effectively.
You’ll have catering experience, ideally at a supervisory level and hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent. You will have an excellent grasp of food hygiene, health and safety and allergen awareness.
You will also have a positive attitude, excellent communication and organisation skills.
