Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state-of-the-art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate Year 7 school. Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. Results in the summer continued the upward trend. This is a great time to join our Design & Technology Department and a fantastic opportunity for the right colleague.

We wish to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher of Design & Technology (specifically, with the ability to teach food technology at KS3 and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition at KS4). The successful candidate will teach across the Key Stages and will have the necessary subject knowledge, drive and determination to raise achievement for all pupils. Please specify your experience and area of specialism within your application.

The appointed candidate will join a dedicated and supportive team, which is very well led and managed in a superbly resourced department.
