Norton Primary Academy are seeking an individual to undertake a Lunchtime Supervisor role at our Ofsted rated Good academy. With 336 children on roll at Norton, we are looking for a motivated and child centred individual to join our team. You will be part of a vibrant, supportive community who are committed to academic excellence and holistic development of every student.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is able to assist children during their lunch time including:

  • Encouraging hygiene, and helping younger children at the serving counter with the proper use of cutlery and help them cut up food
  • Assist with the cleaning of tables when lunch is finished
  • Take charge of groups of children in the playground or the classroom, depending on the weather
  • Devise and initiate constructive play opportunities for children when required
